Operation Orphan

Father Matthias Nyakatura came from Uganda to serve as our pastor at Corpus Christi from 2003 to 2004. We continue to help his mission of supporting the education of orphans and seminarians in Uganda. Those who would not otherwise be able to afford an education benefit from the monies that we donate.

Typically, a silent auction fundraiser is held in conjunction with the annual Winter's Aire Concert. All proceeds go directly to Uganda in support of Fr Matthias' mission. During Covid, a gift card tree raffle was held in December while the concert was on haitus. Donations and volunteers are need for the silent auction and/or gift card tree raffle.

Additionally, a bank labeled "Operation Orphan Change" can be found in the gathering space for loose change if you are interested in donating throughout the year. Additionally, use our WeShare to make a one time donation under "Give Now".
